The Winter edition of "On Point" the Army Historical Foundation's quarterly journal is where you will find Robin's article about the 1885 expedition through the interior of Alaska led by Lieutenant Allen. With a small party of himself, two other soldiers and two civilians with the assistance of native guides these men traveled over seventeen hundred miles through harsh country in one summer. "Journey Through the Wilderness" is the story of this expedition.

Work Underway

Currently Robin has two projects in the works. He is nearly done with his second novel which is something of a sequel to his first and is set in Southeast Arizona in the Chiricahua Mountains. A young man that has just returned from Vietnam is working on his uncle's ranch where he hopes to find peace and solitude in this far corner or Arizona, but a conflict with drug smugglers interferes with his plans.
